Event Overview

The Iran Smart City Expo serves as a national and international platform for collaboration among policymakers, municipalities, technology providers, academia, and industry leaders.
The event showcases cutting-edge solutions designed to improve urban services, enhance quality of life, optimize city operations, and accelerate the transition toward smart and sustainable cities. Smart governance, AI integration, urban data, IoT, transportation, energy, and digital infrastructure have been central themes of recent editions. 

Exhibition Introduction

A city is a large and permanent human ecosystem that provides many services and opportunities to its citizens. Rapid urbanization and population growth have put great pressure on urban infrastructure and services. Current urban planning requires powerful strategies and innovative planning to modernize urban life. Many cities are improving the quality and performance of urban services through digitalization and becoming smarter. Policymakers and city officials are exploring solutions to provide new services in an efficient, responsive, and sustainable manner for a large population. With the help of Almighty God, the Event and Trade Acceleration Center (Sam Convention Organizers), with the effective support of ministries, organizations, the private sector, and knowledge-based companies, held the 5th International Exhibition and Conference on Smart City of Iran from October 28 to 30, 2024, at the Tehran Mosalla Exhibition Grounds. In this regard, the Event and Trade Acceleration Center (Sam Convention Organizers), with the financial support of the Innovation and Prosperity Fund, ministries, organizations, the private sector, and knowledge-based companies, will hold the 6th International Exhibition and Conference on Smart City of Iran from November 3 to 5, 2025, at the Tehran Mosalla Exhibition Grounds, with the aim of developing smart cities and improving the quality of urban life with a sustainable development approach. The 7th edition of this event will be held from October 31 to November 2, 2026.
